Traditionally painted on the walls of huts that had been plastered with Ochre mud, these paintings have transcended onto paper and Canvas. Orginally the art of the Sayadari Area (Western India) tese paintings are of Tribal origin. Painted only in white pigment made of rice paste and gum.
